it came to me in spanish

he found his love and she was glass
they all thought she was diamond
but they were wrong, so very wrong
she was cut, and scratched, and boken
she had been dropped too many times
scuffs and fingerprints showed
her beauty lost, her sparkle gone
her trust as dull as her shine
but the boy had some polish
he made her sparkle and shine
but her external beauty didn't provide
the diamond skeleton she lacked
the boy worked day and night to make her one
the long hours he knew would pay
for she would have strength and beauty
he made plans to give her her diamond shell
she in one had, he diamond shell in the other
but she slipped from his hand and shattered
a million sparkling pieces of glass lying scattered on
the floor

Summer Cleaning

My head is my home
My haven
My nightmares
It is in the farthest corner in which I think up these thoughts
It is in the deepest crevices in which I dream up these fears
The same fears that had been implanted in my mind so long ago
The same thought I was taught was something to live with
I know you so well I know I have nothing to fear
And I know you so well so why is it still there?
And I know you so well so why is the lock still locked?
And I knew him as hell so why does he have the key?

Silly Plastic Bitch Girl

Oh, my Silly Plastic Bitch Girl
Who are you today?
Are you my friend?
Are you my battle?
Are you my hatred?
Are you your goddess?
See no wrong, hear what you like
Think you're wonderful
Think you can have him
Think I am nothing
Think you are everything
Think I am disposable
Think I am makeshift
Think he is yours
Think you're a vitamin
Think I am poison
Think I am a lake while you are an ocean
Oh, my Silly Plastic Bitch Girl
The puppy's on his way
